I just got my iPod touch 4g a couple of days ago, and man it was worth the wait! Everything’s upgraded from the ram to the OS. Read more below.

What it does -
In short, everything. My iPod helps me organize, manage and enjoy my life without paying the exorbitant contract that comes with an iPhone. From video chatting with some one who’s half-way around the world to mindlessly killing pigs with an assortment of birds this thing is ‘all kinds of fun’.

What’s new:
Everything is new! While some features are exclusive to this device, (Retina, Cameras, microphone.) everything else is upgraded. The retina display is great, and the A4 chip is lightning fast. You can now run every app in the app store with the built-in camera and microphone. This thing really might be the best gaming device on the market. Next time you have both nearby, pick up an iPod touch 4 and a PSP and start the app Real Racing on the iPod and the game Gran Turisimo on the PSP and you tell me which is better.

What’s gone. -
Nothing but a couple of millimeters and the old lo-res display.

What’s bad. -
Not much. The cameras aren’t as good as they claim but they do good as long as you don’t zoom to much and don’t look at them on a huge monitor. I personally have had problems with this thing since I checked out. (This may be because I got it at Wal-Mart, but hey.) It was first stuck in recovery mode for 3 hours and then halt of the stock apps disappeared and the photos and camera app went Chinese. That’s probably just mine though.

This is a seriously good game. It’s an arcade style tilt game. (Cube runner, Riddim Ribbon, etc.) Were your going through this bright neon colored vortex trying to avoid giant shapes (-50 health and stay on colored paths. (Multiplies score, varies depending on color of path.) You get points for staying alive. (Similar to Fall Down and Cube Runner.) But it is extremely addicting. And FREE. For fans of arcade-style games based on high scores, (Addicting-games, etc.) I highly recommend this game. In my opinion it is the best game on iOS right now. -TheAppMasta | theappmasta.tumble.com

New MacBook air: reinvented notebook. One of the big surprises at the October 20th event was the new MacBook air. Thinner than ever it has the size of a regular laptop and the portability and convenience of a netbook.They lowered the price of it too. $999 for the cheapest model. Pretty good for a Mac, don’t you think? However the standard MacBook (White) is also $999 but has a thirteen inch display and a 500gb hard drive. Compare that to 11 inch display and 64gb FLASH drive. (Noted, startup times are faster on a flash drive and it probably costs more to make a computer that is .11 inches thick at it’s thinnest.) FaceTime on Mac. Finally!! FaceTime is becoming a standard with a beta software on the Mac and 19 million users since the iPhone 4. Mac OS X Lion. OS X. iOS-ified. That’s right OS X is iOS (-ish) with fullscreen apps somewhat resembling iPad apps, Mac’s own App Store (Fully connectable with your iTunes account, for all you kids.) and a place for all your apps to stay so you can launch them. It even includes folders exactly like the ones on iOS. Stop Playback.

What is Mac? Everything a PC is, but better. What is iPhone? Everything a regular smartphone is, but usually better. What is iPad? Like a Mac, but more limited. The things that both the Mac and the iPad can do the iPad does better. Same concept with iPad and PC. What is Apple () TV? An iPod on your TV. What is iPod? If you don’t know yet, don’t buy it.

The past week the Apple stock got to an all time high of 300$. Apple as a computer manufacturer moved up to the third spot. So just to review: Apple owns these records - most popular mp3 player - most popular portable game player - world’s thinest smartphone - most popular tablet computer. (Just to name a few.)

iPad’s new features.

Patently Apple has just found some interesting news. The first thing is a front camera. Yes. You heard it right, a front camera. (FaceTime, anyone?) The second is A second dock connector for multiple accessories and a landscape typing mode when used with the keyboard dock. The third and final feature is a ‘Smart Bezel’ which lets the user make special inputs on the iPad.

Dancing iPods

Express Lane, an easier way to find an answer to a problem, has just been released on the Apple Website. People who are tech-savy will enjoy this feature.

Apple now has ‘iTunes Instant’ on it’s website. It is EXTREMELY similar to Google’s recent ‘Google Instant’. Plus it was made by a 15 YEAR-OLD.

Goodbye Rock! Intelliborn now will work harder on jailbroken apps because they are focusing now on only one jailbroken community.
